A ONE-TIME opportunity for new sewists to join our Holiday Workshops!
Want to join one of our November or December Stiques Sewing School Holiday Workshops, but haven’t completed our 6-Week Beginner Sewing Course or don’t have previous sewing experience?
For this holiday season only, I’m offering a special Holiday Workshop Prep Class to help you learn the basic skills you’ll need to participate!
During this class, you’ll learn how to:
- Thread a sewing machine
- Wind and load a bobbin
- Properly set up and operate your machine
- Control your fabric and sew straight lines
- Practice the basic skills you’ll need during your workshop
Prep Class: $45
This is an additional fee and does not include the cost of your selected Holiday Workshop.
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ
The Holiday Workshop Prep Class cannot be purchased by itself. You must also be registered for one of our November or December Holiday Workshops.
This is a one-time offering for the 2026 Holiday Workshop season.
After our holiday workshops, future Stiques Sewing School workshops will require participants to have either:
Completed the Stiques Sewing School 6-Week Beginner Course
OR
Already have the basic sewing experience required for that workshop.
The Prep Class does not replace the full Beginner Course. It’s a condensed introduction designed specifically to give you the foundational machine skills needed to participate in this season’s holiday workshops.
Already know how to confidently thread your machine, wind/load your bobbin and sew straight lines? You don’t need the Prep Class! You can register directly for your workshop.
This is your chance to join us for some holiday sewing, learn a few basics and see what Stiques Sewing School is all about!
Purchase your Holiday Workshop first, then add the $45 Holiday Workshop Prep Class if needed.
HOLIDAY WORKSHOP DETAILS
Our Holiday Workshops are designed to be a fun, hands on sewing experience where you’ll leave with a completed project made by YOU!
All materials and supplies are included for your workshop, so everything you need to complete your project will be ready for you when you arrive.
IMPORTANT! COME READY TO SEW!
These workshops are not beginner sewing classes. We will spend no more than 10 minutes reviewing how to thread and operate the sewing machine before jumping into our project. Please arrive comfortable with threading your machine, winding/loading your bobbin, and sewing a basic straight stitch. Pre-Req offered for this reason <3
Every minute of our workshop time is needed to complete your project, so we want everyone ready to jump right in!
TWO-DAY WORKSHOPS
If your workshop lists two dates, your registration includes BOTH dates and attendance at BOTH sessions is required. The dates are not separate options. Your project is designed to be completed over the course of both sessions.

Vivianna Bow Top Workshop
December 12th • 11 AM–1:30 PM
For anyone brand new to sewing, our $45 Pre-Req Class will teach the machine basics you’ll need before attending your Holiday Workshop. The Pre-Req Class must be bundled with a Holiday Workshop and cannot be purchased separately.
